Exam Description

The Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Automation and Integration exam (EX380) tests the knowledge, skills, and ability to plan, implement, and manage large-scale OpenShift Container Platform deployments in the enterprise.

By passing this exam, you become a Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Automation and Integration that also counts towards earning a Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA®).

This exam is based on Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform 4.14

The skills and knowledge associated with this exam can be applied to both self-managed editions of OpenShift as well as managed services editions like Red Hat OpenShift on AWS (ROSA) and Azure Red Hat OpenShift.

Audience & Prerequisites

Audience for this exam

  • Platform Engineers, System Administrators, Cloud Administrators, and other infrastructure-related IT roles who are responsible for implementing and managing infrastructure for applications
  • Enterprise Architects, Site Reliability Engineers (SRE), DevOps Engineers, and other application-related IT roles who are responsible for designing infrastructure for applications.

Prerequisites for this exam

  • Take our free assessment to find the course that best supports your preparation for this exam.
  • Possess a current Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration certification, or equivalent experience and skills with managing OpenShift clusters and containerized applications, according to the topics of the DO180 and DO280 courses for version 4.14 and any later versions. Earlier 4.x releases of DO180 and DO280 are not sufficient.
